Crosspoint Community Outreach is a practical extension of God's love to our community. As we serve through simple acts of kindness, we extend the love of Jesus beyond the doors of the local church. |
Crosspoint Community Outreach (C.C.O.) has been showing love through school supply drives, community meals, baskets for under-priveledged families during the Holidays, support for the local Crisis Pregnancy Center, homemade treats for the staff of our area schools and local law enforcement agencies, and volunteering at the free Family Festival sponsored by the Family Resource Center in June.
Upcoming projects for 2011 include providing lunch for the workers of the Portage Habitat for Humanity house on July 9th. Everyone from the church is welcome to come help build that day also. In August we will be holding a baby clothing drive, so keep an eye out at yardsales! The cloths collected will be donated to the Family Resource Center for use at the Community Baby Shower.
